Come and make a paper crane towards the creation of a ‘Senbazuru’ - 1000 paper cranes - to hang under the Our Place marquee.

This public art installation is being created as a symbol of peace and to celebrate our sister city connections with Hitachi City, in Japan. This activity is part of the ‘Finding Beauty’ Exhibition at Our Place Tauranga from April 15th – May 10th.

These workshops are happening across two days on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th from 10:30am till 11:30am.

Special thanks to Haruka Day, Tauranga Regional Adviser for the NZ Ryugoku Office, and Multicultural Tauranga for their support running these workshops.
