On Wednesday, 18 November 2015, Multicultural Tauranga is hosting a Polish night at the Village Hall in Tauranga's Historic Village.
The theme of the evening is the Wawel Dragon, a legendary monster whose story, well known to every Pole, will be shared with the audience in various ways.
The evening's programme includes a theatrical performance by children attending the Polish Community Trust's Saturday school.
Those who enjoy classical music will be treated to some piano music performed by accomplished, Polish-born pianist Magdalena James, who also teaches at the Saturday school.
Entry to the event, which runs from 7:00 to 9:00pm, is free. Donations to Multicultural Tauranga are appreciated.
Everybody is welcome. Bring a plate of food to share. Come and meet our Polish community and let the Wawel Dragon surprise you. Make new friends, enjoy the atmosphere and taste some Polish yummies.
