Eight football teams played on Saturday, 5 November 2016, in this year’s Ethkick five-a-side tournament to win the Concordia Cup. This included a New Zealand police team.

The police was also one of the two sponsors, provided field preparations and referees. The other sponsor, Papamoa Football Club, allowed Multicultural Tauranga to use their fields at Gordon Spratt Reserve.

The winners were the Big Lumps, a mixed English-Irish team.

The Brazilian team came in second.

The Sportsmen Award went to the Sikh team.
