More than 150 people attended the well emceed, colourful event, including local government representatives and politicians: Western Bay of Plenty District Council Mayor Ross Paterson, Councillors Karyl Gunn, Sue Matthews, Margaret Murray-Benge, John Scrimgeour and National Party MPs Todd Muller and Todd McClay with his wife, Nadene.
