The October/November 2015 Skills4Jobs series of workshops for migrants has been met with enthusiasm. Due to the short notice only three participants had signed up for this new course offered by Multicultural Tauranga: Keiko Kingston from Japan, Simi Merhar from Slovenia and Gloria Ocampo Osorio from Colombia (pictured above in this order with course facilitator Carol Andersen). Being a small group proved a bonus for everybody involved as the course facilitator and invited guest speakers were able to better attend to every participant's personal situation.

Now I am very glad I did sign up because I realised how different things are here compared to Japan, for example the format of CVs and cover letters.
