Te Tiriti based Multicultural Day 2023 was held on 25th August, the  last Friday of August. Invitations were sent out to schools and organisations to participate by having a Multicultural Day at their kura or workplace. Among the schools, this year we had Mount Primary and Gate Pa school who participated and Beca & the City Council were the organisations that took part.

In the evening, there was a celebration in the Historic Village Hall.
At this celebration the prizes of the Art Competition in schools were handed out by Mayor James Denyer. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to people who serve our migrant community in their everyday roles along with a life long contributor to the ethnic community.
